What would we do if the lights went out?

Question
What would we do if the lights went out?
Two thousand years ago wise men sought Christ, wise men still do.

Techniques are situational, principles are universal.

Fast as the wind, quiet as the forest, aggressive as fire, and immovable as a mountain.

He who gets there first with the most...wins!

Minimal force may not be minimum force!

We don't rise to the occasion...we sink to the level of our training.

Run a 100 foot extension cord from the inverter in my truck and turn the lights back on. Of course I'd have my D40A and my Nitecore headlamp in the interim Smile

Be happy I didn't have a big electric bill to pay.

The sun would still run it's bright arc
And each star would still be it's own spark
If the lights all went out
We would stumble about
For the short time we'd be in the dark
STAY HARD

Bringing this back to the top because it is important to be very familiar with this subject.  Our own NSA Director has publicly stated that China can shut down our power grid if they chose to do so.  Iran has hacked into one of our Dams.  The Ukraine had their grid shut down by Russian hackers over the holidays and the same malware they used is present in our own power grid software.

This isn't a joke or to be taken lightly.  If you aren't working towards becoming as self-sufficient as possible then you are dependent upon a system that is fragile and vulnerable.
